Don’t know what to make for dinner? Add one of these delicious shrimp dishes to your dinner menu this week!
Anyway, like I was sayin’, shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey’s uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There’s pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that’s about it. – Forrest Gump
Exactly what Bubba said in Forrest Gump – shrimp has vast versatility making it a great addition to easily add protein to a meal. Plus, shrimp can cook in about 5 minutes making it a simple fix for weeknight dinners.
Just be careful not to overcook your shrimp. They will get tough and chewy. Their color changes from blue to orange-pink when they’re cooked through, and they’ll be slightly firm.
