Banana Berry Smoothie

This Banana Berry Smoothie is a simple (and delicious) solution to help you meet the recommended amount of fruits and vegetable each day.

The recommended amount of fruits and vegetables in the Healthy U.S.-Style Eating Pattern, of the 2015-2020  edition of the Dietary Guidelines, is 2 cup-equivalents of fruit and 2½ cup-equivalents of vegetables per day.


– milk – banana – raspberries – wild blueberries – chia seeds – baby spinach – water or ice

In a blender, combine milk, banana, raspberries, blueberries, chia seeds, and spinach.

Blend until smooth.

For a thicker consistency, add ice. For a thinner consistency, add water.
